Lindsay Haag came to me last year with the idea for her new business and needed help to create a logo to match her unique approach to nutrition. The goal of Off Beet Nutrition is to provide powerful weightloss tools to people through mindfulness, nutrition counseling, workshops, cooking classes and more. With Lindsay's versatile background of nursing, nutrition and chef training (what DOESN'T this woman do?!), we knew that we needed to create a logo that would capture her audience's interest enough to make them want to learn more.Read More
Every Thursday during the summer in my hometown, the Williston Downtowners Association hosts a free concert featuring local bands, food and drinks. It’s an amazing weekly event that bring the community together and I had the honor of designing their branding materials last year. This project was a dream come true for a brand designer like me who just wants to make bright, bold and funky designs. And the fact that we could incorporate some guitars and the color teal really made my day.Read More
City Pop is a gourmet popcorn company with brick and mortar shops in Denver + the surrounding areas (including in Winter Park, which I saw when we went skiing this year!). They have so many delicious and unique flavors and it's all locally produced, so you know you're getting an amazing product!
Chris from City Pop came to me last year needing to design some fun and unique labels for special occasions. The idea is that their customers will be able to buy tins of popcorn and pick the label for the occasion so that it makes a great gift! I absolutely loved the idea and was so excited to get started after we discussed the aesthetic and purpose.Read More
Integrated Therapeutics is a physical therapy business that takes a wholistic approach to helping people get back to what they love doing best. I had worked with the owner Rachel previously on a few small projects, but when she was ready to take her business online with a website last year I was so pleased to be able to work with her again!Read More
I'm so excited to finally be sharing this logo + brand design process! Wasted Kitchen + Pub came to me last year in the very beginning stages of planning their restaurant. They wanted to establish a strong brand identity and unique logo incorporating the core values of their restaurant - which is to use every part of the food so that there is little to no waste. For them, that means using everything from nose to tail and from root to tip (such clever taglines!). I immediately fell in love with the idea and wanted to create a logo design for them that visually exemplified just that.Read More
AcuBliss is an acupuncture and holistic medicine business located in Boulder, CO that is dedicated to their patients' health & well-being through preventative care and healing. When Amorette, the owner of AcuBliss, decided that it was time to update her logo she asked her friends and colleagues if they had any recommendations for a designer. She was referred to me by her mentor and professional contact Katherine. Katherine had such a positive experience working with me on the logo design for her online course AcuProsper that she knew I would be a great fit for Amorette as well.Read More
I’ve known Rachel of Sunshine Photography for years, and we worked together a few years ago to create a beautiful website + brand that showcased her vibrant photography and let her wonderful personality shine through. So when she came to me to update her logo to match the caliber of her site, I was completely thrilled to be working with her again. Rachel had created the logo she was using herself, and while it served her well, she was ready to work with a designer for a more professional mark.Read More
The Williston Downtowners Association is a non-profit organization that promotes and supports Downtown businesses and events in Williston, ND. Their goal is to position Downtown Williston as a destination for both residents and tourists. The association came to me last year with a bit of a dilemma: Not only did they need a logo, branding + website for the downtown area to attract traffic and communicate information...but they also needed a way to differentiate the association info from general downtown info that would cause less confusion.Read More
Around this time last year, the Children's Museum of Denver at Marsico Campus reached out to me to create some designs for their 43rd annual birthday bash gala, the museum's most important fundraiser of the year. Each year they pick a different children's book as the theme for the gala and the 2016 theme was The Secret Garden - a book I loved growing up, so I was thrilled to be asked to help with the designs and branding for the event. Not to mention that all the proceeds from the event directly benefit educational programs, exhibits, and other opportunities available through the museum.
I was so honored to have the opportunity to work on this amazing project and flex some of my illustration muscles. This has been one of my most challenging and favorite projects to date and I'm so excited to be sharing it with you now!Read More
One of my favorite things about my job is that even though now I live in Denver, I still get the opportunity to work with people from my home town. First Lutheran Church is located in Williston, ND and with their increasingly youthful congregation, they came to me late last year needing a big update to their website. Having grown up knowing this church and attending many events there, I was so excited to help them put a new face to their digital presence.Read More
