432 Photography is an amazing wedding and lifestyle, one-woman-photography-shop run by the brilliant Brooke Smith. Brooke came to me last year in need of a logo design to legitimize her business. She has been doing photography as a side hustle since college, but when she realized that this was her passion and she wanted to pursue it full time, she decided a logo was needed to truly make it official.
After our initial consultation, we decided to focus on a text based logo with some handwritten fonts to compliment her genuine photography style.
Brooke loved the third concept, which was a completely custom, hand-lettered design. She wanted to try writing out the numbers and refining the stacked layout as well as try a horizontal version to see what would work best.
After a bit more refining and adding in some color, we landed on a horizontal layout along with shades of blue to symbolize her business name's origin story (hint, it's based on a beautiful bible verse containing water and a river). We also developed a matching submark to go along with her logo and be used as an icon or stamp.
Brooke was an amazing client to work with and I'm lucky enough to have kept in touch with her over the past year. She recently honored me by inviting me to design a set of wedding invitations for a styled shoot she put together at Mt. Evans. Here's a sneak peek of the shoot. I can't wait until Brooke shares more with the rest with the world!
"You are such a turbo worker. I really appreciate how quickly you respond and get these logos back to me. I am 100% in LOVE with the logos. They look absolutely perfect! Thank you again, so much for all the work you put into them."
